Three men have been arrested in connection with the heinous murder of a couple who police say were executed in their own home, located inside a Houston-area gated community.
Khari Kendrick, 23, Aakiel Kendrick, 21, and Erick Peralta, 20, were arraigned on Thursday. According to the Houston Chronicle, they are all being held without bail. Khari allegedly confessed to the murders, implicating his two friends in the double-murder.
All have been charged with capital murder for the death of Bao and Jenny Lam, both 61. They are currently being detained on no bond. It is unclear if they have made additional statements at this time.
The couple were bound by their hands and feet and shot to death last week. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office stated that the Lams “were ambushed by suspects as they parked their car in the garage.” The suspects

Texas church shooter Devin Kelley allegedly purchased animals on Craigslist just to murder them. Kelley’s former Air Force colleague Jessika Edwards told CNN she supervised the killer for two years, from 2010 to 2012. Edwards revealed that Kelley told her he used dogs for “target practice.”
The former colleague told CNN that Kelley began sending her the bizarre Facebook messages in 2014. She said she couldn’t tell for sure if Kelley was making sick jokes or telling the truth, but it creeped her out enough to stop talking to him.
While Edwards and Kelley were still enlisted in the Air Force, Edwards said Kelley was obsessed with mass murder.
“He would make jokes about wanting to kill somebody,” Edwards told CNN. “And we would say, ‘wait, that’s not funny.'”
When Kelley was disciplined for poor performance, Edwards recalled telling her bosses to “back off or he would shoot the place up.”
Kelley had “problem

The Center for Reproductive Rights and The Planned Parenthood Federation of America have filed a lawsuit objecting to a Texas law that forbids a common abortion procedure.
Senate Bill 8, which was passed in a session this year, imposes a handful of new restrictions on abortion including a requirement to bury or cremate fetal tissue, a ban on the donation of fetal tissue from an abortion, a ban specificly on a late-term procedure known medically as dilation and extraction (which are already illegal in the United States), and a ban on the use of dilation and evacuation (DE), one of the most common and safest procedures used on fetuses older than 15 weeks. The last ban, as noted by The Austin Chronicle, does not include exceptions in cases of rape or incest.
The lawsuit specifically states that the DE ban “threatens the health of…patients and their access to abortion care,” and “violates patients’

Miss Black Texas 2016 is claiming she was harassed and berated by a North Texas Police Chief who called her a “black b—-,” before being unlawfully detained and arrested.
According to an NBC affiliate in Texas, Carmen Ponder is calling for police accountability and wants charges filed against Commerce Police Chief Kerry Crews.
Ponder wrote on her Twitter account that she was driving to a Wal-Mart on Saturday when a truck cut in front of her car. She said the truck was driving erratically. Ponder said she turned on her blinker, pulled around to pass the truck and drove into the Wal-Mart parking lot.
According to Ponder, the truck driver followed her and pulled up next to her in the parking lot. She said the passenger, later identified as Crews, got out of his truck and yelled that he was teaching his 14-year-old daughter how to drive. Crews allegedly told Ponder that
