Former Friend Reveals He Was Terrified Of OJ Simpson

In 2007, OJ Simpson got a call from Tom Riccio, a collectibles broker who had worked with Simpson in the past. He informed Simpson that a couple of dealers had some of OJ’s personal property that went missing or were stolen from him.

“OJ was both angered and excited that a lot of his stuff he’d been looking for for many years was back in his grasp,” Riccio says during the series premiere of Mysteries Scandals. “He wanted it back. He came up with the idea to tell them that we had a rich OJ fan that wanted to buy this stuff. And that he would go there and try to get it back himself.”

Eventually Riccio and Simpson showed up to the Las Vegas hotel room where the infamous crime went down. Riccio secretly recorded the entire event to cover

OJ Simpson Speaks Out For First Time Since Being Released From Prison: ‘Nothing’s Changed’

OJ Simpson was released from prison Sunday after spending nearly nine years behind bars for orchestrating an armed robbery. The 70-year-old was released a little after midnight, wearing a baseball cap and long coat. Hours later, reporters caught up to him and the former football player responded.

“Man, how in the … Have you all been … you all stalking me?” he said, in a video posted by the New York Post. He was smiling and laughing but appeared annoyed.

The reporter asked Simpson how it felt like to be out. OJ responsed, “I’m in a car for the last five hours, so how do I know how it feels to be out? … I’ve been in nowhere U.S.A. for the last nine years doing nothing. Nothing has changed in my life. What do you expect?”

He then told the reporter that where he was going was “none of [his] business.”

“I told

OJ Simpson Has Officially Been Released From Prison

OJ Simpson has been released from prison, despite his attorney predicting it wouldn’t happen so early.

As of Sunday, he is a free man. Reporters gathered around High Desert State Prison outside Las Vegas for the event.

“October 1st falls on a Sunday and except for essential workers, I think it’s going to be highly unlikely that the Nevada Department of Corrections is going to have any type of resources to be able to transport Mr. Simpson anywhere,” OJ’s attorney, Malcolm LaVergne had previously said, according to ABC News. “Mr. Simpson’s making arrangements. He has to go through the Nevada Department of Corrections, the Nevada Department of Parole and Probation and at some point very soon he will eventually have his release plans and he will be able to get out.”

The 70-year old former football player and actor spent nine years behind bars for a 2008 armed robbery and kidnapping conviction.

Parole Board ‘Wasn’t Given Any Formal Notice’ Of OJ Simpson’s Spouse Abuse Case Before Granting Release

OJ Simpson’s 1989 conviction for misdemeanor spousal abuse wasn’t considered during his July parole hearing, according to TMZ.

Simpson had pleaded no contest in the case in the battery of his then-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, who was later murdered in 1994. Officials wonder if the information would have swayed the parole board differently when they agreed to grant him parole for his 2008 conviction on robbery and kidnapping charges.

The conviction wasn’t listed in documents supplied by the FBI, which the parole board reviewed last July.

Police were called to the Simpson home in Los Angeles on New Year’s Day 1989. According to the New York Post, police said when they arrived they found a distraught Nicole Brown Simpson screaming, “He’s going to kill me!” The attack left her with a fat lip, a black eye, and a handprint on her neck from where OJ had grabbed

OJ Simpson’s Lawyer Says He’s Not Completely Happy About Leaving Prison

OJ Simpson will soon be a free man, but it will be a bittersweet moment.

According to TMZthe former football star’s lawyer says that Simpson has created real bonds with his fellow inmates at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada, and it will be hard to say goodbye to them.

Malcolm LaVergne explains, that Simpson “loved being in general population” because he’s a social peron. He even misses his prison jobs, like being commissioner of the inmate softball league.

Back in July, the 70-year-old faced a parole board to plead his case for release. He has been incarcerated for nine years due to a 2007 robbery.

In 2007, Simpson and a group of armed men entered the Palace Station hotel of Las Vegas, Nevada where they allegedly robbed sports memorabilia dealer Bruce Fromong at gunpoint. He was convicted on charges including kidnapping, armed robbery and assault with a deadly

Nicole Brown Simpson’s Sister On OJ’s "Conflict-Free Life" Comment: "I’m Like, Really?”

Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister Tanya Brown wasn’t impressed with O.J. Simpson’s “conflict-free life” comment that he made before a Nevada parole board on Thursday.

During the hearing, the disgraced football star said, “I’ve basically lived a conflict-free life.” He was soon after granted freedom, and he is expected to be released from prison as soon as Oct. 1.

“I’m like, really? You beat my sister, regardless of . . . murdering her and Ron [Goldman],” Brown told TMZ. “The fact is that my sister has diary entries dating back to, what, 1978 about abuse that was inflicted.”

She said she had to remind herself that the parole hearing was about the armed-robbery conviction and not the double murder accusations.

“In order for me not to get mad or get depressed or get anxious, that’s the mindset that I have to have — that this is the law,” Brown told Fox News. “It is what
