The toxicology report has been released in the sudden death of rapper Lil Peep. According to CBS News, the 21-year-old died in Tucson, Arizona from a combination of the pain medications. Following rumors of an overdose, a criminal investigation was initially opened to investigate. His death has now been ruled as accidental.
As previously reported, the rapper (real name Gustav Ahr) was found dead on November 15 aboard his tour bus. According to The New York Times, authorities suggest the 21-year-old Long Island rapper’s death was the result of a Xanax overdose before he was scheduled to perform a show in Tucson, Arizona.
“I’m completely heartbroken and lost right now,” Cortez said on Instagram. “I can’t even feel it’s not real. I love you and I’ll miss you always. One of the realest. Please someone tell me this isn’t real.”
Peep released his first project, Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1, over the summer. On it, he repeatedly referenced his consumption of cocaine, molly and Xanax, according to UPROXX.

Rising rapper Kodak Black is facing up to 30 years in prison on sexual assault charges. As ABC15 reports, the rapper (named Dieuson Octave) has been indicted by a Florence County grand jury on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct last November in Florence, South Carolina.

A founding member of a legendary hip-hop group has been arrested in connection to a fatal stabbing in New York City. According to the Associated Press, The Kidd Creole (a.k.a. Nathaniel Glover) from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five was arrested Wednesday on murder charges in an incident involving a homeless man.
The stabbing occurred before midnight on Monday in Manhattan. The victim, 55-year-old John Jolly, was a level-2 sex offender living in a shelter. He was found with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
An NYPD spokesman tells PIX11that Glover and the victim argued and then Glover allegedly pulled out an object and stabbed him twice in the chest and one time in the stomach. The victim was found on the sidewalk and later died in the hospital. Sources tell WNBC that Glover confessed to police but no motive has been released.

Although an autopsy has been undergone, the Clark County Medical Examiner says that nothing can be settled until the results of toxicology tests come through. Medical examiners insist this is not an insinuation that drugs were involved. The tests are routine whether drugs are suspected or not.
The estimation on the delivery of the results is about six to eight weeks.
