On August 20, 1989, the Menendez brothers brutally murdered their wealthy parents inside their Beverly Hills mansion. That evening, Jose and Kitty Menendez were tired after a long day of shark fishing on a yacht. Their sons were supposedly out for the night at the local movie theater, so they figured they’d snuggle up and watch The Spy Who Loved Me, a James Bond film. But what happened next was unimaginable.
Jose was shot point-blank in the back of the head with a 12-gauge shotgun, almost decapitating him. Kitty was first shot in the leg. Reportedly, she slipped and fell on her own blood, and was shot several more times on her face and body. In fact, Kitty, a former beauty queen, was unrecognizable after the crime. And both parents were shot in

The mother of the woman murdered during the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia this weekend said her daughter’s death should be “a rallying cry for justice.”
Thirty-two-year-old Heather Heyer died after a man plowed his car into a crowd of counter-protesters.
“Heather was not about hate, Heather was about stopping hatred,” Susan Bro, Heyer’s mother told HuffPost. “Heather was about bringing an end to injustice. I don’t want her death to be a focus for more hatred, I want her death to be a rallying cry for justice and equality and fairness and compassion.”
Twenty-year-old James Alex Fields Jr. has been arrested for the attack. He was photographed demonstrating at the rally, carrying symbols of Vanguard America, a white nationalist group.
Federal law enforcement are conducting a civil rights investigation into the incident, which has been called an act of domestic terrorism by numerous politicians and officials. The incident injured 19 others.

In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, the father of the man driving Princess Diana at the time of her death says the fatal car crash that killed them was part of a murder plot.
“Diana was killed and my son was killed. I believe they were both murdered,” said 85-year-old Jean Paul. His son Henri was behind the wheel of the Mercedes-Benz carrying the Princess of Wales and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed on the night of August 30, 1997, when it crashed into a support beam in a tunnel in Paris, France, killing all three.
The first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, 68-year-old heir apparent to the British crown, Princess Diana had been divorced for just over a year at the time of her death. In July of 1997, she had begun dating Fayed, a film producer and the eldest son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed. Henri Paul

Five people were charged with murder after two Colorado teens were found dead along the side of a rural road, police said on Thursday.
Gustavo Marquez, 19, allegedly confessed to investigators that Natalie Cano-Partida, 16, and Derek Greer, 15, were kidnapped in March and shot multiple times by two other men at close range, the Associated Press reports.
Marquez reportedly said that one of his co-defendants, Diego Chacon, shot Cano-Partida, and another defendant, Marco Antonio Garcia-Bravo, shot Greer with the same gun.
Garcia-Bravo offered the 16-year-old girl a chance to say goodbye to her family via Facebook, but then snatched back the phone, telling her she was taking too long and had lost her chance, according to Marquez’s account.
Marquez was arrested a week after the killings, after an officer found him disrupting traffic while walking on a median. Marquez allegedly then told an officer that he had information about the teens.

The parents of Mallory Grossman, a 12-year-old girl from New Jersey, blamed her school for a lack of action against her bullies at a Tuesday press conference.
NJ.com reported that Bruce Nagel, the Grossmans’ attorney, said that the girl received text messages telling her to kill herself, and calling her a loser. However, the school allegedly neglected to take any action. The family plans to sue the district and school administrators for “gross negligence.”
“This small device can be a lethal weapon in the hands of the wrong child,” Nagel said while holding up an iPhone at the press conference. The Grossmans said that in addition to receiving “mean texts” their daughter was bullied through posts on Instagram and Snapchat.
Mallory’s mother, Dianne Grossman, said she’d been in contact with school administrators over her daughter’s bullying since October. She claims the school officials failed to take action, and failed to file harassment

A father admitted in open court that he murdered his 5-year-old son during a custody battle with his estranged wife. According to Yahoo, Aramazd Andressian said “yes” when asked if he had killed his son, while his wife held an urn of the boy’s ashes.
The 35-year-old pled guilty to first-degree murder the death of Aramazd Jr. following a trip to Disneyland. Authorities believe the child was killed on April 21. According to CNN, the child’s mother, Ana Estevez, reported the child missing after the father didn’t return him in a planned custody exchange.
The father was found unconscious the next day in his car and he had apparently taken prescription pills. His vehicle was doused in gasoline in what appears to be a suicide attempt. “He did not remember what happened to his child or any details that were useful in locating his son,” Lt. Joe Mendoza of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told reporters in
