Man Indicted For Keeping Stepdaughter As Sex Slave, Forcing Her To Have 9 Children

The Muskogee, Oklahoma man who is accused of kidnapping his stepdaughter at age 11 and then impregnating her with nine children has been indicted by a federal grand jury. Henri Michelle Piette, 63, allegedly kidnapped Rosalynn Michelle McGinnis in 1995 or 1996 and then moved from location to location, including Mexico, for nearly two decades, The Associated Press reported.  

McGinnis, now 33, found the strength to escape last year while living in a tent with Piette and their children in Mexico. She fled with her children and went to the US embassy for help.

“I knew that if I didn’t get out of there I’d either go insane or I would end up dying and leaving my kids with that man,” McGinnis told People earlier this year. She told the publication that it felt “so nice to be able to tell somebody the truth.”

Baltimore Cop Killed With Own Gun One Day Before He Was Set To Testify Against Indicted Officers

Detective Sean Suiter was scheduled to testify in the case of a squad of indicted officers accused of harassing citizens and drug dealing conspiracies, but was killed with his own gun after a struggle with a criminal a day before his appearance in court. According to The Baltimore Sun, the death of Suiter has complicated the case.

The eight officers indicted were involved in a task force that (supposedly) aimed to get illegal guns off the streets. Four officers have pleaded guilty to a plethora of charges including racketeering, four have pleaded not guilty. It is unclear whether Suiter planned to testify in favor of or against the officers. Suiter had previously worked with many of the officers involved in the widespread insvestigation.

Teacher Indicted For Having Sex With 2 Students, Sending Nude Pics On Snapchat

A 23-year-old high school substitute teacher from Kettering, Ohio is accused of having sex with two male teenage students. Madeline Marx was indicted on two counts of sexual battery, WHIO reported on Friday.

The teacher was arrested earlier this month after police physically removed her from Fairmont High School in Kettering, where she subbed for two years, Fox 45 reported. Marx pleaded not guilty. She has been released on bond and ordered not to have any contact with the students.

According to court documents obtained by Dayton Daily News, Marx allegedly had oral sex with one of the students, a 17-year-old, in July. She is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 16-year-old student in September. Husband Indicted For Murdering Wife On Alaskan Cruise Ship After ‘Snapping’ Over Divorce Talk

The Utah man who allegedly murdered his wife while celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary on an Alaskan cruise last month has been indicted for her brutal killing.

Federal officials announced on Thursday that 29-year-old Kenneth Manzanares is charged with first-degree murder for killing his wife Kristy. According to PEOPLE, prosecutors said Kenneth allegedly “willfully, deliberately, maliciously, and with premeditation and malice aforethought” killed his wife.

Kristy, 39, was allegedly killed in her cabin, where she suffered major head trauma.

The Manzanares’ three teen daughters and other family members joined them on their trip aboard the Emerald Princess.

Zebb Quinn Disappeared 17 Years Ago, And A Man Was Just Indicted For His Murder

Zebb Wayne Quinn went missing on January 2, 2000 after working a shift at Walmart in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. He was 18 years old and had just finished his shift in the electronics department of the store at 9 p.m. After work, he had plans with his coworker and friend Robert Jason Owens.

Robert told Zebb that he knew of a car for sale. Zebb was actively looking for a new car at the time. The two met up in the Walmart parking lot before driving separately to look at the vehicle. The two men were caught on surveillance footage at a gas station nearby at around 9:15pm, buying sodas.

FedEx Worker Indicted For Killing Of Google Executive

A Massachusetts man charged in connection with the murder of a Google executive in Princeton last August was indicted for murder. Angelo Colon-Ortiz, 31, of Worcester, was indicted by a grand jury on Friday for murder in the death of 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte, who was killed while jogging.

Marcotte, a New York City resident, was in Princeton visiting family when she went on a morning jog. Her body was found in the woods not far from her family’s home later that evening, naked and burned, according to the Daily News. She had suffered  “crushing injuries to the structures surrounding her throat,” according to NECN.

Colon-Ortiz is being held on $10 million bail. He was an employer of FedEx, and delivered packages in the area according to NECN. A cheek swab taken from Colon-Ortiz matched DNA found underneath Marcotte’s fingernails.

Colon-Ortiz will be arraigned at an unscheduled date.

Tad Cummins Indicted On Federal Charges, Faces Potential Life Sentence

 The former high school teacher accused of abducting his teen student was indicted on two federal charges Thursday.

Tad Cummins, 50, was indicted on a charge of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activities, according to PEOPLE. He was additionally charged with destruction, alteration or falsification of records in a federal investigation for allegedly destroying two phones to impede the investigation.

Cummins’ attorney stated that his client had no prior criminal history and noted that he did not coerce, force or threaten Elizabeth Thomas. The teen girl’s family disputes that claim. Thomas, who was 15 at the time of the alleged abduction, just turned 16 on Wednesday.

Cummins pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to CNN. Each count is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and, according to the Department of Justice, if convicted Cummins could face life in jail. He
