Mother Of 8-Year-Old Gabriel Fernandez Pleads Guilty After He Was Horrifically Tortured To Death For Being ‘Gay’

The mother of an 8-year-old boy from Palmdale, California has pleaded guilty to murdering him in 2013. On Thursday, Pearl Sinthia Fernandez, 34, admitted in a Los Angeles courtroom that she tortured her son Gabriel to death intentionally.

According to the Los Angeles Times, because the mother pleaded guilty she avoided a trial. She does now potentially face life behind bars with no possibility of parole, however. Originally it was believed that prosecutors wanted to fight for the death penalty for Fernandez but her defense lawyers said the mother’s low IQ made her an inappropriate candidate for a death sentence.

After the mother agreed to the conditions of her plea agreement, Deputy Dist. Atty. Jon Hatami told her, “You will never be paroled. You will never be released from prison. Do you understand and agree to this?”

Fernandez responded affirmatively and then her public defender comforted her, according to the

Woman Pleads Guilty To Kidnapping Newborn From Hospital In 1998, Raising Her For 18 Years

A woman who abducted a baby and raised her into adulthood has pleaded guilty for her actions. As CNN reported, 52-year-old Gloria Williams pleaded guilty to kidnapping and interference with custody.

Back in 1998, Williams allegedly posed as a hospital worker in Jacksonville, Florida, and nabbed an infant baby girl. The infant’s biological mother, Shanara Mobley, told authorities that she thought the woman who entered her room was a nurse. When Mobley asked the woman to place the baby in a carrier, she left the room with the newborn.

The child (seen below) was renamed Alexis Manigo, and Williams raised her as her own daughter. Nearly two decades later, the child realized that Williams used fraudulent documents and wasn’t her biological mother. She discovered her true identity when she applied for a job that required a birth certificate and social security information. Her given name at birth was Kamiyah Mobley.

Tupac Shakur’s Abuse Victim Speaks Out About His Guilty Verdict For The First Time

Ayanna Jackson, the woman who accused Tupac Shakur of sexual assault, spoke out for the first time on-camera last week since her 1993 allegation. In a sit down with VladTV, Jackson recounts how she felt when the 23-year-old rap star was found guilty of first-degree sexual assault along with his road manager.

When asked if she felt the guilty verdict “satisfied” her need for justice, Jackson said no. “I don’t think that it could ever satisfy…whether it’s a guilty verdict by a court or anything…I’m 44 now and I could never, ever recover from. There is no justice in that. Not at all.”

Jackson alleged that Shakur and his entourage took turns having sex with her in a New York City hotel room. Although she had come to be with the rapper, she alleges that he forcibly allowed his friends to also have sex with her. “I’m looking at him

Yoga Twin Found Not Guilty Of Driving Off 200-Foot Cliff To Kill Sister In Hawaii

Alexandria Duval was acquitted of the second-murder of her twin sister on Prosecutors accused her of deliberately driving off a cliff in Hawaii to intentionally kill her business partner and identical twin Anastasia in 2016. On Thursday, she wiped tears from her eyes as the judge read her verdict. Alexandria decided to have a judge, not a jury, decide her fate.

Birney Bervar, Alexandria’s defense attorney, told The Maui News, “It’s been an extremely emotional ordeal for her. You can’t imagine losing your twin sister in that kind of catastrophic, tragic accident, then being charged with causing the death of your sister, which she didn’t. She’s extremely relieved.”

Prosecuting Attorney J.D. Kim was a little less thrilled, telling the Associated Press that, “I’m disappointed. The facts clearly show it was at least reckless behavior.”

Both twins were 38 at the time of the crash when an SUV carrying the sisters went

3 Women Plead Guilty For Brutally Beating Homeless Man To Death Over A Child’s Lie

On Monday, three women pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter for the death of a homeless man in 2015. The violence was prompted after a 10-year-old boy came home to tell his mother Aleathea Gillard that a homeless man hit him and called him a racial slur.

Naturally, that angered Gillard. She and a few friends went looking for the man who she thought assaulted her son. They thought they found him outside an Olney, Pennsylvania gas station.

Gillard and two friends —  Kaisha Duggins and Shareena Joachim — viciously beat 51-year-old Robert Barnes. The entire incident was caught on surveillance video. The footage shows Gillard beating Barnes with a broken rocking chair leg. Duggins hit him with a hammer. Three teenagers contributed to the beating. Gillard’s 13-year-old son and her 12-year-old daughter, as well as a 14-year-old friend, helped out in the attack. One of the minors was injured by

Mom Found Guilty Of Killing 33-Year-Old Daughter, Shoving Crucifix Down Her Throat

An Oklahoma woman was found guilty of killing her adult daughter by shoving a crucifix down her throat, CBS News reported.

A jury found Juanita Gomez, 51, guilty of first-degree murder in the 2016 death of her daughter, 33-year-old Geneva Gomez, who Juanita reportedly believed was possessed by the devil.

Geneva Gomez’s body was discovered by her boyfriend, Francisco Merlos, who had come to visit Gomez in order to win her back two days after they broke up, the Chicago Tribune reported. Juanita Gomez let him inside her house.

“I hugged her and said I was sorry for what happened on Thursday,” Merlos said when he testified in court. “I was like ‘where’s my girl,’ and she said ‘she’s in the room.’ Usually, my girl is real happy. She’d say “I’ll be right out, baby,’ or something like that. But, it was just the TV going on, there was no sound

A Connecticut Teacher’s Aide Who Pleaded Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Teen Had Been His Preschool Teacher

Kyle Damato-Kushel has pleaded guilty to sexual assault after abusing a student of Wooster Middle School in Stratford, Connecticut. The charges, specifically, include second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child.

According to The Connecticut Post, Kushel worked as one of the boy’s pre-school teachers before he was a student at the middle school, when the abuse allegedly occurred.

Damato-Kushel confirmed that she was giving up her right to trial during the guilty plea.

Under the plea bargain, Damato-Kushel will face 18 months in prison when she is sentenced on March 14. She will also be forced to register as a sex offender.

“It is an agreed recommendation,” said Damato-Kushel’s lawyer, Richard Meehan Jr, of the deal.

“The state’s attorney’s office handled the case with sensitivity and professionalism and the victim feels it is a fair and sensible way to resolve the case short of trial,” said James Clarke, who represents the victim in this case,
