Mom Found Guilty In Murder Of Swinger Husband, Had Help From Younger Lover

A mom in California was found guilty on Thursday for her role in her husband’s murder. As The Daily Beast reports, 37-year-old Sabrina Limon was also convicted on charges of soliciting a murder, conspiring, and being an accessory in helping her younger lover kill her husband of nearly 14 years.

Robert Limon, 38, of Helendale died on August 17, 2014. Sabrina Limon’s lover, Jonathan Hearn, testified in September that the murder plot began as a joke months earlier.

Prosecutors say Sabrina and Hearn (seen below) wanted to kill Robert Limon in hopes of cashing in on his $300,000 life insurance payments and being together. Her defense attorney claimed that it was Hearn who was the real killer. “The only evidence that the people have is Jonathan Hearn: an admitted, cold-blooded, calculating killer, who stalked her husband and killed him,” said defense attorney Richard Terry.

They also said that the couple were swingers

Man Pleads Guilty To Murdering Mom Of Three He Met Online, Dismembering Her Body

The man who murdered and dismembered a Seattle mother of three and dumped her body parts in garbage bags pleaded guilty Monday to first-degree murder. John Robert Charlton, 38, still faces sentencing for the murder of 40-year-old Ingrid Lyne in April of 2016. Prosecutors say they intend to recommend the maximum prison sentence of 27 years and nine months, according to The Seattle Times.

Charlton and Lyne met online and had been dating for a month before she was reported missing by her former partner, after he dropped off their three daughters, who were ages 12, 10 and 7 at the time of her murder. While searching her home, Seattle detectives found bits of human flesh and dried blood in her bathtub, as well as a 15-inch pruning and an empty box of plastic garbage bags, according to FOX News.

Fyre Festival Organizer Pleads Not Guilty To Fraud Charges After Disturbing Email Leaks

Early in the summer, the Fyre Festival made headlines as reports from the event showed the grave conditions guests were faced with, contrasting sharply with the promises of luxury and opulence offered by the organizers. Now, Billy McFarland, the festival’s organizer often blamed for the event’s total failure, is pleading not guilty to charges of wire fraud and making false statements to a bank in Manhattan federal court.

The Fyre Festival used an influencer marketing strategy that appealed to the wealthy by showing off extravagent ammenities and a lineup of big-name musical acts.

The festival fell apart as guests arrived on the Bahamian island, with all of the performers and the caterer pulling out. Attendees were met with incredibly poor conditions, including a lack of food, roving stray dogs, and unsanitary tents — contrasting sharply with the images of models on jetskis

44-Year-Old Man Found Guilty Of Brutally Stabbing Teen Wife To Death In College Bathroom

Armando Perez admitted to fatally stabbing his estranged wife, Diana Gonzalez, in a restroom in San Diego. According to Time, he thanked the jury at his trial.

Perez was convicted of first-degree murder and a special-circumstance allegation of lying in wait. He potentially faces life in prison.

Perez had showed up to his 19-year-old wife’s college class in October of 2010. Her parents, fearing her husband’s violence, had come to pick her up from the City College. A confrontation between Gozales and Perez ensued, during which the former slashed the latter in the face, chest, neck, and genitals. He continued to mutilate her body after she died.

Perez claimed he was driven to murder after seeing Gozales kissing another man outside of class.

“It was me but I just became a monster. I don’t know what happened,” Perez said from the stand.

According to The San Diego Union Tribune, Gonazels had filed a restraining

Man Pleads Guilty To Shaking Girlfriend’s 4-Month-Old Daughter To Death: ‘The Baby Became Quiet’

A Michigan man has pled guilty for killing his girlfriend’s 4-month-old daughter.

According to MLive46-year-old Richard P. Watson pled guilty on Tuesday to second-degree murder and first-degree child abuse. In exchange for this plea, felony murder charges against him were dropped.

Evelyn Patricia Legacy was 4 months old when she died on August 14, 2015 at C.S. Motts Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Watson told authorities that he caused the injures because she was crying. “When he went in to check on her, she was fussy and crying, and while trying to quiet her, he said he snapped and began shaking the baby in the crib,” shared Midland Police Detective Ryan Duynslager in the affidavit. “He said he did this for about one minute, at which time the baby became quiet.”

Later that morning, Watson and the mother had trouble waking the child. They took Evelyn to IKEA and found her unresponsive. Emergency responders said

Man Pleads Guilty To 1993 Killing After New Evidence Re-Opens Cold Case

A Florida man has pleaded guilty on Tuesday for a 1993 murder, and police are crediting the Oxygen show “Cold Justice” for the closure on the cold case.

Angelo E. Ruth, 61, was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the death of Mattie Henry, 40, according to WINK News. Henry’s half-naked body was found in September 1993 near a recreational center. She suffered a gunshot wound to her head.

Fort Myers police said “Cold Justice” helped renew leads in the case. The forensic evidence and witness statements that the show brought out led to Ruth’s arrest in 2016.

Two years before Henry’s murder, Ruth took out a fraudulent life insurance policy on her, according to an ABC affiliate. Investigators with the show helped police confirm that Ruth forged Henry’s signature on the $100,000 life insurance policy, according to the Root. Then, publicity from the show allowed key witnesses to come forward, and

Young Dad Pleads Guilty To Killing 3-Year-Old Son So His 17-Year-Old Girlfriend Wouldn’t Leave Him

A man has pleaded guilty to killing his 3-year-old son in an attempt to keep his girlfriend around.

David “D.J.” Creato Jr., 23, will serve a maximum of 10 years for aggravated manslaughter for killing 3-year-old Brendan, whose body was found in the woods in 2015 near his Creato’s New Jersey home, Philly.com reports.

In court on Wednesday, Creato said he “recklessly caused his son’s death under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life by depriving Brendan of oxygen.” An exact cause of death has not been determined, yet three medical examiners ruled that the toddler died of “homicidal violence.”

The plea deal came about two weeks before Creato was to go on trial a second time for murder, on September 11. Back in June, a mistrial was declared after a jury said they couldn’t agree on a verdict five days into deliberations.

According to the Associated Press,

Husband Pleads Not Guilty To Killing Wife On Alaskan Cruise Ship After ‘Snapping’ Over Divorce Talk

The Utah man who allegedly killed his wife last month aboard an Alaska-bound cruise ship during their 18th wedding anniversary pleaded not guilty on Wednesday afternoon.

Thirty-nine-year-old husband Kenneth Manzanares is accused of murdering his wife, Kristy Manzanares, 39, in their cruise cabin.

In various reports, witnesses said that Kenneth told them that he killed his wife because she “wouldn’t stop laughing” at him and that he “snapped” after she told him she wanted a divorce.

Their three teen daughters joined the high school sweethearts on their trip aboard the Emerald Princess. Kristy suffered a severe head wound. Authorities have not yet released her official cause of death.

On Wednesday, Kenneth appeared in federal court via video from a courtroom in Juneau, Alaska, PEOPLE reported. His lawyer has not commented on the case.

A GoFundMe page has been launched to help the family.

Teen In Brutal ‘Slenderman’ Stabbing Pleads Guilty To Lesser Charge: ‘I Just Wanted It Over With’

One of the two Wisconsin girls charged with stabbing a classmate as a sacrifice to the fictitious character and internet meme Slenderman pleaded guilty on Monday to lesser charges.

In 2014, Anissa Weier (left) and Morgan Geyser, both 12 at the time, lured 12-year-old Payton Leutner into the woods after a sleepover. Then, they stabbed her 19 times to impress Slenderman.

Weier, now 15, entered a plea on Monday to one count of second-degree homicide as an accomplice with use of a deadly weapon. It’s a lesser charge than her initial attempted first-degree intentional homicide charge.

“I believed that if I didn’t go through with it, Slenderman would come and attack and kill myself, my friends and my family,” Weier said in court on Monday, according to the Associated Press. “Those I cared about the most.”

The girl claimed she told Geyser that she didn’t want to stab Leutner.

“I just wanted it over
