First Responders Describe Jessica Chambers As ‘A Zombie’ When She Allegedly Said ‘Eric Set Me On Fire’

BATESVILLE, MS — First responders to the scene where Mississippi teenager Jessica Chambers was found with burns on 93 percent of her body said in court Wednesday morning she was “mentally in shock,” “in a trance,” and that she “looked like a zombie” when she told them a man named Eric set her on fire.
Yet prosecutors began making their case Wednesday as to why 29-year-old Quinton Tellis—and not a man named Eric—is responsible for Chambers’ horrific murder. Tellis has pleaded not guilty.

On the second day of trial in the small Mississippi courthouse jurors heard from a parade of first responders, many of whom were the last people to speak with Chambers before she fell unconscious on Dec. 6, 2014.

Those who spoke to her at the scene of the crime in Courtland testified she said “Eric set me on fire,” and prosecutors worked to combat these reports, asking the first

Alaskan Cruise Ship Passengers Describe Heartbreaking Moment Teen Daughter Found Out Dad Murdered Mom

Passengers aboard the Princess Cruises ship on which a Utah husband allegedly murdered his wife during their 18th wedding anniversary recounted the moment when the couple’s 13-year-old daughter found out what happened.

The couple, Kristy and Kenneth Manzanares, both 39, traveled with their three daughters and other family members on the Alaskan cruise. Their children ranged in age from 13 to 22. Kenneth allegedly killed his wife in their cabin.

Passenger Chris Ceman told Inside Edition, “One of the little girls from that room came running out calling for help that her parents had been in a fight. She sounded pretty desperate.”

Passenger Natalie Beckstrom told the St. George News that she saw the couple’s 13-year-old daughter “standing there wrapped in a blanket, just sobbing.”

The Wives Of ISIS Members Describe “Hell” Existence In New Interview

In a fascinating article, BuzzFeed News interviewed the wives of ISIS fighters held in a US-backed Syrian detention center, as ISIS’s hold on Syria and Iraq begins to crumble.

“We were looking for paradise but all we got was hell,” said Aisha Khadad, 30, who moved to Raqqa to be with her new husband, an ISIS foreign fighter.

“The big proof that (ISIS) are not good people is that they’re losing everything now,” she said. “Those who are victorious are on the right way. But, you know, they are losing. They are just retreating.”

None of the wives interviewed by BuzzFeed News have been accused of any crime, but are being held, along with their children, in a makeshift detention center inside a displaced persons camp.

“We keep them away from everyone else because it’s very dangerous for them,” said an intelligence officer in the new government overseeing northeast Syria. “Maybe their husbands
