Comedians are often used to hecklers but Steve Brown faced a fan who turned violent. Brown was attacked during a set at the Comedy House in Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday night. According to TMZ, Brown was on stage when a person from the audience jumped onstage and then came after him. He swung wildly at the comedian with the mic stand and a stool.
The comedian ducked out of the way multiple times and authorities were called in. Authorities shared that the suspect is someone named Marvin. In addition to Brown, four others at the club were injured and want to press charges against the attacker. One victim is a security guard who claimed that he got punched in the face as the assailant made his escape. There were also physical damages to the venue, including $400 worth of property damages.

Former Disney Channel star Orlando Brown has been arrested for battery. As the New York Daily News reported, the actor, known for his role on “That’s So Raven,” was arrested on Thursday after a dispute with his girlfriend and her mother.
Authorities came to the 30-year-old’s apartment in Barstow, California following a heated argument between the three individuals. When the arriving officers ran warrant checks for Brown, his girlfriend and his girlfriend’s mother, they realized Brown had an active arrest warrant for charges of battery, obstruction of justice and drug possession.
That warrant was due to an incident from 2016 when he allegedly struck his girlfriend in a police parking lot in Torrance, California. It’s unclear if his current girlfriend is the same woman who was involved in the previous battery incident.

Following support from celebrities like Rihanna and Kim Kardashian, the case of Cyntoia Brown has been put on the Tennessee Governor’s radar. According to WKRN, Governor Bill Haslam is gathering information on Brown’s case. The 29-year-old is spending life in prison for fatally shooting a 43-year-old man who solicited her as a prostitute when she was a teen.
As previously reported, Brown was a teen sex trafficking victim who killed a man she believed was about to attack her. He took her to his home, and she shot him in the back of the head with a .40-caliber handgun. Earlier, she was lured into a sex trafficking ring, and she says that she was forced into prostitution by a violent boyfriend, a pimp named “Kutthroat.”
Brown never denied the murder.
“I shot him,” she reportedly said, not long after the crime. “I executed him.”

A homeless Navy veteran was charged Wednesday with kidnapping a teen girl who was found dead in September. The body of 19-year-old Ashanti Billie was discovered days after she was reported missing from her job on a Norfolk, Virginia naval base.
Eric Brian Brown, 45, has been charged with kidnapping Billie. According to CBS News, prosecutors claim Brown attempted to flirt with the teen on the naval base. She was reported missing after she didn’t show up to her fast-food restaurant job on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek. Days later, her remains were found behind a church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“He preyed on her,” Ashanti Billie’s father, Meltony Billie, said on Thursday, according to NBC Washington.

Days after Nicole Brown Simpson’s ex-boyfriend spoke out against O.J. Simpson’s parole, he was arrested for a DUI. Keith Zlomsowitch was arrested early Monday for driving under the influence in Palm Beach, Florida.
According to the Palm Beach Post, authorities saw Zlomsowitch running a red light by driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. He was pulled over and denied running the red light. He did, however, say that he had “two or three” drinks before he was driving. He refused to give a breath sample once at Palm Beach County jail.
He was booked at 2:00 a.m. and then released five hours after.

Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister Tanya Brown wasn’t impressed with O.J. Simpson’s “conflict-free life” comment that he made before a Nevada parole board on Thursday.
During the hearing, the disgraced football star said, “I’ve basically lived a conflict-free life.” He was soon after granted freedom, and he is expected to be released from prison as soon as Oct. 1.

Nicholas Gordon, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex, has been arrested for allegedly beating his girlfriend.
On Saturday, police in Sanford, Florida were called to a home for a report of domestic violence. According to a press release from the Sanford Police Department, the victim claimed she was hit and punched by Gordon, her live-in boyfriend.
Police found Gordon at a local clubhouse near their residence. Gordon was taken into custody and charged with battery and false imprisonment.
Last year, Gordon was ordered to pay $36 million to the estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the child of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown. He was found legally responsible for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub, according to CNN.

Chris Brown may be in legal trouble again. The singer is being investigated in connection with an incident at a Florida nightclub, in which a photographer claims he was “sucker punched,” according to Fox News.
Tampa police spokesman Stephen Hegarty says that photographer Bennie Vines Jr. was hired by the AJA Channelside club at an event hosted by Brown. The photographer claims that when he was taking photos, the singer punched him and left the venue before authorities showed up. Vines refused medical treatment, but said that he is prosecuting over a minor lip cut.
The nightclub has confirmed the incident on its Facebook page. “Incidents like the ones caused by Chris Brown and his team are very sad to see,” it shared. “Assault charges were pressed and we are dealing with the proper authorities accordingly.”
Brown’s reps did not respond to Fox News to comment.
