An actor who appeared on an episode of “Twin Peaks: The Return” allegedly beat a woman with a baseball bat on Wednesday in Washington.
According to a press release from the Spokane City Police Department, police were called to a business after calls of an attack. They spotted actor Jeremy Lindholm, 41, fleeing out the back of the business with the baseball bat. He then gave up and let police take him into custody in a nearby ally.
Linholm told police he and his girlfriend were fighting all day. According to KREM, the actor became enraged after his girlfriend didn’t get him Kool Aid. She then left to buy him some, but never returned. So, Linholm went to her workplace to assault her.
The incident was captured on a security camera. Police called it “extremely violent.”

A suspect was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery in Ensley on Wednesday night, Birmingham police said.
Sgt. Bryan Shelton said the male suspect was shot three times when he tried to rob someone at 1349 Pike Road. The suspected was taken to Princeton Hospital with what appears to be life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made in the case. Police are continuing their investigation.

The driver accused of plowing through Times Square yesterday and crashing into a crowd of people has been charged with murder. The crash left tourist Alyssa Elsman, 18, dead. She had posted an Instram photo of Times Square just minutes before being struck. Alyssa’s sister is among the 22 injured people.
According to CNN, the driver was Richard Rojas of the Bronx. The 26-year-old allegedly made a U-turn and steered his car into the sidewalk where it hit several pedestrians for a three block stretch. Surveillance video shows bodies being struck in the crowded intersection in Manhattan.
Alyssa Elsman, an 18-year-old from Portage, Michigan, was visiting the city and killed. The other injured are expected to survive.
In addition to the murder charge, Rojas faces 20 counts of attempted murder and five counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, per a statement from the New York City Police Department.
