Rising rapper Kodak Black is facing up to 30 years in prison on sexual assault charges. As ABC15 reports, the rapper (named Dieuson Octave) has been indicted by a Florence County grand jury on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct last November in Florence, South Carolina.
According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, the incident in question says the assault occurred in February while Kodak was performing at the Treasure City nightclub. The 20-year-old Pompano Beach artist is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl, who reported the attack to her school nurse in Richland County, at the Comfort Inn and Suites. “According to investigators, on or about February 7, 2016, Octave is alleged to have engaged in the sexual battery of the victim at a hotel located at 2120 West Lucas Street, Florence, SC,” Major Michael M. An 8-year-old boy was beaten to death with a hammer while trying to defend his sister from being molested.
According to WSFA, Dante Daniels, 8, caught his mother’s ex-boyfriend trying to commit a lewd act on his 7-year-old sister, Danae. That prompted 23-year-old Deandre Chaney Jr. to attack Dante, Danae and their 28-year-old mother Elizabeth Salone.
Police say that Chaney Jr. used a knife, a hammer and lighter fluid in the attack. Dante was injured the most. He was declared brain dead and died six days after the incident.
“Trying to save his sister from this child molester, and that’s why he was beat the worst,” Dante’s grandmother, Monique Brown, told WSFA.
Salone and Danae survived, but they have been badly hurt. Brown said Salone will likely never see out of her left eye again. She added that her granddaughter will need a lot of

A Cranberry, Pennsylvania woman has been charged with falsely accusing a police officer of rape after he didn’t respond to the 102 text messages she sent him, according to CBS News.
A criminal complaint filed by the Cranberry Township Police stated that Michelle Milliron felt ignored after having sex with the officer in April, so she made up that he assaulted her.
The officer, 42-year-old Mike Foley, resigned from the North Braddock Police Department in July after pictures of him were discovered online along with an ad soliciting sex. According to CBS News, the ads were seeking out women who had sexual fantasies about cops. Foley denied placing the ad and claimed that he has been set up, but Milliron has not been linked to it, either.
The ad, entitled “White alpha male bull seeking couples/wives/girlfriends,” stated that Foley enjoys “risking getting a woman pregnant so her pathetic man can raise

The father of two men who were convicted of rape this year has also been charged with rape.
Arthur Lyen French, 55, of Battle Creek, Michigan was arraigned on Tuesday, charged with the 2009 rape of a now-52-year-old woman.
The victim told police that she was sleeping when her acquaintance, French, knocked on the door, came in, and wouldn’t let her leave. She said that when she refused sex, he punched her multiple times, according to the Battle Creek Enquirer. He allegedly punched her so hard, it punctured her eardrum.
French had just recently been released from jail at the time of that incident.
French told police back in 2009 that he went to the woman’s house to collect $25 she was holding for him. He alleged that she began to hit him when he asked for his cash and then claimed that she agreed to have sex to make up for not

A sexual predator’s appeal has been denied by the state court of Pennsylvania. According to Penn Live, Frank Yeager has been sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison for plotting prospective rapes. “I truly enjoy the hunt and cannot wait for my prize,” he bragged in a diary entry fantasizing about attacking women.
Per court filings, Yeager entered a female realtor’s office in Lehigh County’s Upper Macungie Township before closing time in November 2012. He had targeted female Realtors for rape and had done research to develop his attack plan. Crime Online says he had a list of 200 women he was obsessed with.
Per Penn Live, Yeager asked the woman to show him a home. He went inside and turned off the lights and drew the curtains to wait for her. When she didn’t come in, he made up a false story about a water leak that he wanted her to look into.

According to The Miami Herald, Haleigh Alexis Hudson and Ezzie Johnson, two teenagers who filmed the sexual and physical assault of a woman and posted the video online, have been arrested. Hudson is being charged with felony kidnapping and sexual assault; Johnson is being charged with felony kidnapping. The Clarion-Ledger adds that Kadari Fabien Booker has also been charged with felony kidnapping and sexual assault.
The assault —which occurred in Gulfport, Mississippi — was being recorded and streamed on Facebook Live. The unnamed victim is a 23-year-old woman who may or may not be handicapped. If she is, both offenders could face additional charges.
The video has since been removed from Facebook. It had garnered around 48,000 views before it was taken down.
“I can’t help but be disturbed by the incredible numbers of shares and views of this crude and despicable event,” said Gulfport Police Chief Leonard Papania, who blamed social media for the crime. “We videotape pain

Greg Gianforte, the congressman-elect who body slammed a reporter who was asking questions about healthcare shortly before an election, has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault. He will receive no jail time for his crime, according to the LA Times.
Judge Rick West has ordered Gianforte to serve 40 hours of community service, attend 20 hours of anger management sessions, and pay $385 in fines. Gianforte had originally been sentenced to four days in jail but Judge West changed his mind. Journalist Ben Jacobs, who Gianforte attacked, has agreed not to sue as part of a settlement which included a $50,000 donation to the Committee to Protect Journalists.
“You accepted responsibility. You apologized,” said West, who noted the Republican’s wealth and business accomplishments.
Gianforte had won the election despite the scuffle. Newspapers had vehemently denounced his behavior, and many called for him to step down.
“The people of Montana need a representative in

Chris Brown has been in and out of trouble with the law since he assaulted Rihanna in 2009. While many are dissatisfied with Chris Brown’s community service punishment, and angry that a man who hit a woman continues to be a successful pop star, the charges did continue to plague Brown in various ways. Obviously, he has an aggressive streak in the first place, but he regularly argues that the media exaggerates his anger issues for ratings. So do many of his friends.
Brown’s latest drama involves beauty queen Baylee Curran, who called the cops on Tuesday alleging that Brown had pulled a gun on her in his Los Angeles mansion. Curran hasn’t seemed like the most reliable complainant, but Brown exacerbated matters when he refused the LAPD entry to investigate, forcing them to seek a search warrant.
TMZ is now
