A new lawsuit is claiming that Poland Spring Water is committing “colossal fraud” by claiming on its bottles that it contains “100 percent natural spring water” from Maine, USA Today reports.
The legal complaint, filed Tuesday, claims that Nestle is instead simply bottling common groundwater that doesn’t qualify as spring water.
“For more than twenty years, Nestle Waters’ marketing and sales of Poland Spring Water has been a colossal fraud perpetrated against American consumers,” the lawsuit claims.
“To consumers, ‘spring water’ from a naturally occurring spring signifies purity and high quality and commands a premium price compared to Defendant’s non-spring drinking water products or filtered tap water,” the lawsuit continues.
A representative from Nestle Waters disputed that claim to USA Today, saying that their water meets all federal and state regulations for spring water.
Previously Nestle settled a 2003 lawsuit that alleged its water was not sourced from the Maine wildness.

Police are looking to neighbors for help in solving the vicious murder of a 12-year-old girl in Nashville, Tennessee.
“I’ve never seen anything this brutal in my entire career,” MNPD Sgt. David Kautzman said.
The body of the child was discovered by family members last Thursday. Yhoana Arteaga was killed by blunt-force trauma in her mobile home while home by herself, according to Fox17. She was on crutches after being injured in a skating accident. Yhoana’s last communication was when she texted her mother, telling her that someone was knocking at the door.
Police described the scene as ‘horrific.’
“Without being overly specific, there was blunt force trauma to her body and her clothing was in disarray,” MNPD Spokesperson Don Aaron said.
Police believe the young girl knew her killer.
The GoFundMe “Friends of Yhoana” said the murdered girl was “kind, polite, caring, fun, intelligent, and beautiful she will be remembered as a wonderful

A Bay City, Michigan woman told police she was raped in a Delta College parking lot back in February. But, she later confessed to making the whole thing up, and now she is facing a felony charge.
Mary T. Zolkowski was arraigned on Monday for one count of false report of a felony. She could face up to four years for the charge, the New York Post reported.
Zolkowski had originally claimed that was grabbed by a man from behind as she was walking to her car. She said the rapist grabbed her face and throat as he assaulted her. She told police she only saw her attacker’s hands. Zolkowski allegedly told police she didn’t want a physical examination, according to Michigan Live.
She claimed that the incident caused her to drop out of school. However, it was later determined that she dropped her courses before the alleged assault.

Fictionalized versions of real-life crime stories often exaggerate or stylize true stories for the sake of drama, but sometimes, the true facts of a case get so distorted by moviemakers that it becomes difficult to tell truth from fiction.
We’re here to sort out some of the biggest things the movies got wrong about very real crimes.
1. Ed Gein never used a chainsaw.
The iconic horror film “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” purports to be a depiction of real-life events, but the story of the movie greatly embellishes the actual crimes of serial killer Ed Gein.
While it is true Gein cannibalized his victims and preserved their body parts as keepsakes, pretty much everything else in the film is totally made up: even the eponymous detail of the chainsaw.
2. Zodiac’s infamous phone call went much differently in real life.
In Fincher’s “Zodiac” film, a person who claims to be the mysterious serial killer calls into

There’s no fury like a woman scorned. According to the New York Post, a Texas woman has been arrested in connection to her ex-husband’s disappearance.
Kristen Anne Dean Jennings, 28, of San Angelo was taken into custody today after her ex, 41-year-old Vincent Torrez, went missing on July 21. She has been charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, per the Abilene Reporter-News.
Two days before the disappearance, Jennings took to Facebook to vent about a man—presumably her ex—being abusive to her and wanting custody of her kids. “Seriously done with the ‘legal’ way of doing this!!!” she wrote.
Torrez (pictured below) has not been found, and authorities believe his disappearance is a homicide.
Jennings allegedly entered Torrez’s mother’s home on July 21, assaulted her and then forcibly took Jennings’ and Torrez’ 4-year-old, per a police news release. Investigators have also arrested Jennings’ husband, Stephen Lynn Jennings, as well as his

In a New York Times profile published on Tuesday, actress Charlize Theron spoke about when her mother killed her father in self-defense.
When Theron was 15 and living in her native South Africa, her abusive, alcoholic father threatened Theron and her mother with a gun. He began shooting, and her mom, Gerda Jacoba Aletta Maritz, grabbed her own handgun and shot back. Theron’s father died and his brother was wounded. Officials decided the killing was justified.
“I survived that, and I’m proud of that. I’ve worked hard for that, too,” Theron told The New York Times. “And I am not scared of that. I am not fearful of the darkness. If anything, I am intrigued by it, because I think it explains human nature and people better.”
She said the aftermath was even worse than the shooting itself. “That was my entire childhood. My trauma was all of that.”
Theron has played several

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s relationship continues to explode quite publicly, with Chyna recently granted a restraining order against Rob. She’s got plans to sue Rob over naked images of her he posted to social media as well. Given the tumult, Chyna took an in-depth interview with Nightline to discuss the issues.
But when asked to respond to the interview, the Kardashians (specifically Kim) offered nothing but a signed copy of Chyna’s non-disclosure agreement.
The agreement forbids the signee from discussing specific details about the Kardashian family — in public or in private. A breach in contract could result in a $10 million fine. By some interpretations, the interview above could be seen as such a breach.
Chyna has alleged that Rob had physically abused her in the past, an event which was quite

A Florida woman who was arrested for leaving her child in a hot car while she went shopping complained that the back of the police cruiser was too hot for her. According to WFTV, police were called to a Dollar General in South Daytona after witnesses spotted a 5-year-old boy sitting in a locked Hyundai alone, crying, screaming and sweating heavily. The front driver’s side window was down and both passenger’s side windows rolled up. The car was parked in direct sunlight, according to police. The child’s mother, 30-year-old Colleen Walker, told police the child wanted to stay in the car. “He wasn’t in the car for two hours, it was like, 12 minutes,” said Walker on a police dashcam video.
“Don’t get all huffy and puffy because I’m not going to feel bad for you. I don’t care,” a firefighter replied.
He went on to tell her that he sees numerous
