Man Accused Of Beating Pregnant Woman With Baseball Bat, Injecting Her With Meth

A woman who is 37 weeks pregnant was beaten with a baseball bat and injected with methamphetamine against her will in Charleston, West Virginia, on Thursday. According to the Charleston Gazette-Mail, Kyle Wilson Stowers, 21, is accused of being the man behind these despicable actions.

He has been charged with malicious wounding and is being held on a bail of $10,000. It is unclear if he has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf at this time.

The woman claimed that Stowers attacked her inside a home, striking her in the head, face, legs and torso with a wooden baseball bat numerous times. She has suffered cuts and bruises from the attack. Then, according to the woman, he left her “for dead.” Before fleeing, though, he allegedly injected meth into her arm, The Associated Press reported.
