UCLA Basketball Players Accused Of Stealing Sunglasses In China Could Face Significant Prison Time

Three UCLA basketball stars may be left in China as allegations against them for shoplifting go through the legal system. KTLA shares that the freshmen on the UCLA men’s basketball team accused of shoplifting from Louis Vuitton store in city of Hangzhou could be in the foreign country for months. The players are LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill.

As previously shared, the three were in China for a game against Georgia Tech. They have been accused of shoplifting sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store near their hotel. They were released on bail after being questioned about the alleged crime but continued to remain in their hotel as authorities continued the investigation. The players did not participate in the game that took place on Friday.
