Dramatic police radio dispatches from the Las Vegas shooting massacre have been released.
“We can’t worry about more victims,” one officer said in an audio clip. “We have to stop the shooter before he has more victims.”
In another clip, the SWAT team inside the Mandalay Bay hotel talks to a dispatcher about locating the gunman. Stephen Paddock, 64, was shooting rapid fire at country music festival attendees from a smashed out window on the 32nd floor of the hotel. At least 59 people were killed and over 500 injured in what is now proclaimed the deadliest mass shooting in American history.
“Just advising, there are people down on stage left,” police told dispatchers early on in the shooting, according to National Public Radio. “Shots fired from Mandalay Bay. There’s many people down stage left.”
