Mom Pens Heartbreaking Facebook Post After Teens Allegedly Try To Lynch 8-Year-Old Biracial Son

The mother of an 8-year-old boy from Claremont, New Hampshire, posted a devastating message on Facebook before deleting it.

“So my son is being flown to Dartmouth after a 14-year-old kid decided to hang him from a tree. I don’t care if this was a so called accident or not. My son almost died because of some little s*** teenage kids,” Cassandra Merlin wrote on Facebook, alongside a photograph of her son’s injuries.

Her unidentified 8-year-old was treated for his injuries in the hospital, according to The Root.

She later wrote on Facebook:

 “I just want to put this out there, my only intentions of making Quincys story public is show this country that racism does in fact still exist. That it is still so alive that our children are living in a world of hate. Being exposed to all types of hatred. It truly saddens me that even in a city
