2 Teens Killed ‘Execution Style’ After Getting In Fight Over Missing Purse At Party

Five people were charged with murder after two Colorado teens were found dead along the side of a rural road, police said on Thursday.

Gustavo Marquez, 19, allegedly confessed to investigators that Natalie Cano-Partida, 16, and Derek Greer, 15, were kidnapped in March and shot multiple times by two other men at close range, the Associated Press reports.

Marquez reportedly said that one of his co-defendants, Diego Chacon, shot Cano-Partida, and another defendant, Marco Antonio Garcia-Bravo, shot Greer with the same gun.

Garcia-Bravo offered the 16-year-old girl a chance to say goodbye to her family via Facebook, but then snatched back the phone, telling her she was taking too long and had lost her chance, according to Marquez’s account.

Marquez was arrested a week after the killings, after an officer found him disrupting traffic while walking on a median. Marquez allegedly then told an officer that he had information about the teens.
