Almost five years after a boy vanished while on a court-ordered visit with his dad in Colorado, the father has been charged with murder. Mark Redwine was arrested Saturday in Bellingham, Washington. He has already been indicted in Colorado for second-degree murder and child abuse in the death of his 13-year-old son, Dylan, according to ABC News. In the past, he has denied involvement in the death.
Dylan visited his father for Thanksgiving in 2012. He texted his mom when he arrived at Redwine’s home, and that was the last anyone ever heard from him, a sheriff press release stated.
Redwine told police he ran some errands the next morning at 7:30 a.m. and when he returned four hours later, his son was missing.
