Mom Severely Mauled By Pit Bull While Protecting Son; Cousin Saved Them With Garden Shears

A mother was mauled trying to protect her two-year-old son after a pit bull forced his way through a fence and attacked him. Then, her cousin swooped in with garden shears.

On Easter Sunday, Tiffany Griffis (left) was dropping off food to her cousin Destiny Godfrey (right) at her workplace in Sanford, North Carolina along with three of her four children. Godfrey works at a home for people with special needs and while the relatives talked outside of the workplace, the neighbor’s dog, a two-year-old white and brown pit bull named Grey pushed his way under a fence.

According to animal control documents obtained by Oxygen.com, Grey lunged at Griffis’ son Cameron. The dog bit him on his left leg and swung him around.

Griffis told Oxygen.com, “We didn’t do anything to trigger him or cause him to attack. He was dragging him and biting him in his groin area and left leg

Mom Allegedly Sold Sex At Home For Heroin Money While Kids Were There

The neighbors noticed something strange about the apartment on the second floor. Suspicious men were coming and going at all times of the day.

Police now say the mother in the Pennsylvania apartment was selling sex for heroin money — while children were there. And a father of one child might have even helped.

Police say Brittany Patrick, 26, posted multiple ads on a website called Escort Babylon. The posts said Patrick wanted to meet “older, generous gentlemen … no game players, I don’t play games.”

Police conducted traffic stops on the men leaving her building in Ingram. The drivers couldn’t name a person they were visiting or give police a “reasonably believable purpose” for their visits, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Believing that drugs or prostitution might be involved, police found the multiple ads on the website with Patrick exposing herself.

An undercover officer answered an ad and went to Patrick’s apartment. When he got

Suge Knight Reportedly Hospitalized While Incarcerated

Incarcerated Death Row Records founder Marion “Suge” Knight has reportedly been moved to a hospital following an unknown illness.

Knight was taken from Los Angeles County Jail on Tuesday morning and moved to an area hospital for the past two days, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. On Thursday, the New York Daily News reported that Knight remains hospitalized.

Deputy Sara Rodriguez from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department tells Oxygen that they cannot comment on Knight’s medical status or whether he’s in the hospital due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

This is not the first time that Knight, 52, has suffered a health scare behind bars. In March 2017, he was hospitalized for “life-threatening” blood clots, the New York Daily News reported. The music mogul, who is awaiting trial for murder charges, was in and out of the hospital over the last two years.

Did A Cop Go Too Far Tweeting A Photo Of A Bride Getting A DUI While Driving To Her Wedding?

It’s not the typical wedding photograph: a bride in a white dress with her hands cuffed behind her back. It will certainly be a photo to remember, but it probably won’t be included in Amber Young’s wedding album.

Young, 32, was arrested in Arizona while driving to her wedding on Monday morning. Police believed she was impaired. Sgt. Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted a picture of the arrest, which was later deleted.

The bride’s arrest followed a three-car crash, and Scott insinuated in a now-deleted tweet that Young’s alleged intoxication was a factor.

“Don’t drive impaired, till death do we part doesn’t need any help,” he tweeted, adding that one person suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The bride didn’t take a breath test and she was later released after “submitting to a blood draw.” After signing a criminal citation, she was released to her fiance, according to KVOA

1 In 4 Teens Are Sexting, While Experts And Parents Worry They Don’t Understand The Consequences

The majority of teenagers have smartphones. A new report has analyzed 39 studies featuring approximately 10,300 teenagers and found that one in four have sexted. The report was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Pediatrics, according to Time.

The report shows that 15% of teens say that they send sexts—sexual messages images or videos—while 27% receive them. The report also says that this activity increases with age.

Parents are especially worried in how to help their teens navigate a digital world in which sending and receiving texts could account for illegal behavior.

“The topic is of pressing concern for most parents, who are faced with the double threat of trying to understand the workings of the digital world, while also having to navigate conversations around sexual behavior with their teens,” says Sheri Madigan, an assistant professor in the department of psychology at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute at the University
