Joseph DeAngelo Walks Into Court For The First Time, Ditches …

Golden State Killer suspect Joseph DeAngelo was walking — and did not use a wheelchair at all — during his most recent court appearance, backing some experts’ belief that it was all for show.

When DeAngelo walked into a Sacramento courtroom for a hearing Monday, it marked the first court appearance that the 72-year-old suspect wasn’t in a wheelchair. Instead, he walked into a steel cage located in the courtroom and stood.

His public defender Diane Howard told The Sacramento Bee she had nothing to say after she was asked if DeAngelo was feeling stronger.

“I’m not going to talk to you about his conditions,” she said.

DeAngelo was arrested last month and charged with murdering 12 people across California in the 1970s and 1980s. He has not yet entered pleas for any of the murders. Police believe that the Golden State Killer suspect is also the man dubbed the East

Man Walks Into Television Station And Confesses To 1993 Murder …

A man from Northern California has credited God for coming forward and admitting to taking part in a 1993 murder. During a television interview with KRCR, Brian Hawkins confessed to being one of the culprits behind the cold case stabbing death of 19-year-old Frank Wesley McAlister.

Hawkins, 44, made an emotional plea during the televised interview after walking into the Redding station to confess.

“Every minute of every day has been a nightmare. It’s kind of weird, Frank never got to have a life, but we were teenagers and now I’m 44 and still haven’t even had a life and now most likely won’t anyway,” he revealed, adding that he was consumed with remorse.

After the interview, he gave detailed statements about the killing to police.

“I’m going to turn myself in next door at the sheriff’s department for a crime I was involved in years ago. […] It was murder,” Hawkins told
