A Tony Award-winning actress who starred in the Broadway revival of “The King And I” has lost her unborn baby just months after her 4-year-old daughter was struck and killed in a Brooklyn crosswalk.
Ruthie Ann Miles, 35, and her husband Jonathan Blumenstein were expecting to have a baby girl this month, according to NBC 4 in New York.
“At the time of the crash Ruthie was pregnant and was severely injured. This past Friday Ruthie and Jonathan lost their baby, Sophia Rosemary Wong Blumenstein,” Ben Rubinowitz said in a statement issued Wednesday. “The pain suffered by Ruthie and Jonathan is nearly impossible to fathom. As you might imagine, they are overwhelmed by the sadness of the deaths of their children.”
