Bronx Man Stabs Pregnant Fiancée And Steals Her Phone So She Can’t Get Help, Police Say

A Bronx man allegedly stabbed his pregnant Army veteran fiancée and stole her phone so she couldn’t get help, leading to the unborn child’s death.

Oscar Alvarez, 30, was arrested a few hours after the Tuesday attack and charged with murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the New York Post.

The fiancée, 30-year-old Liv Abreu, was around 20 weeks pregnant. The former Army Airborne parachutist survived the stabbing but her child did not.

The couple got into an argument in their third-floor apartment around midnight Tuesday, and Alvarez allegedly stabbed Abreu many times in the chest and also the side, according to the New York Daily News.

He didn’t get help for her but instead cleaned himself up for about an hour, changing into new clothes. Then he left, taking her cell phone and car keys with him.

Abreu crawled to a neighbor’s house for help. She was transported

In 2016, the couple’s charges had already amounted to millions. Kennedy was fired when the company discovered his spending.

“Earlier this year, we became aware of possible improper financial activity by Scott Kennedy, the financial controller at our Buffalo Grove plant, and began an immediate internal investigation,” said Nemera in a statement. “This included the hiring of an independent accounting firm and outside counsel to lead the review. Naked Florida Man Steals Pickup Carrying Large Swan Sculpture

Surveillance video showed a naked man in Polk County, Florida stealing a pickup truck with a large swan in the back.

According to WPTV, Ronald Thompson was caught on video naked, a bucket in front of him.

Police said he broke into a storage unit last weekend and left with a truck carrying a large checkered swan art sculpture in the bed.

Thompson was arrested and deputies recovered the pickup truck, but the swan is still missing.

The swan’s owner said he would like the public to keep an eye out for his swan. It was in the truck because it was getting a new paint job.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the sculpture is worth an estimated $25,000.

Police do not know why the man was naked.

True Crime Steals Viewers for Advertisers

CRIME PAYS when it comes to networks and advertisers looking to reach female viewers.

ID: Investigation Discovery, with true-crime focused programming including Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda, Is O.J. Innocent: The Missing Evidence, Murder Calls and Evil Lives Here, was the No. 1 cable network for women 25-54 in January.

Primetime ratings were up 9% among women 25-54 and 13% among women 18-49.

ID’s growth since its launch nine years ago has made it increasingly attractive to advertisers. With the upfront market — a time when cable networks sell more than half of their commercial inventory — approaching, ID is also drawing new competition, notably from Comcast’s NBCUniversal, which said in February that its Oxygen network will become a crime destination network for women, featuring new programming from Law Order creator Dick Wolf.

“I think they’ve seen the success we’ve had from both a ratings and an [advertiser] demand perspective,” Scott Kohn, senior
