Christmas just didn’t feel right this year without the annual festive Doctor Who episode, but thankfully, the show’s first ever New Year’s Day special is the perfect hangover cure. It’s fun, fast-paced, and at times thrilling; the kind of alien-versus-earth adventure which was sorely missing from season 11. It’s almost hard to believe this is the same Chris Chibnall that wrote the terribly mundane “The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos” season finale.
Chibnall intentionally avoided using old-school Who villains in his first season as show-runner. He wanted a fresh start with new characters and new monsters, and while not all of them landed, the idea of establishing a new era of Who was an admirable goal. It’s perhaps that lack of familiarity across ten episodes that helped build anticipation and made the return of the Daleks (or, at least, a Dalek) so exciting.

She wrote on her Instagram account: “We did it. Again!! And as much as the first time shooting Wonder Woman was amazing, this time was even more unique and special.. We shot in 4 very different locations in 3 countries, and I’m so soooo proud of the almost 1000 crew members who came to set every day, giving everything they have into our movie. (sic)”
‘Wonder Woman’ was one of the biggest cinematic successes of 2017.
And Gal has loved the experience of working with director Patty Jenkins once again.
She wrote: “Couldn’t ask for better partners on this.. I’m so lucky to have the

Timeless: “The Miracle of Christmas”
The two-hour series finale of NBC’s cult-favorite drama that was canceled, then revived, then canceled again, airs tonight. A release for the episode promises the usual thrill ride through history along with, fittingly, a “healthy dose of Christmas spirit.” The finale’s story is spread across three centuries and two continents, and will test Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and the whole Time Team as they try to save Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), preserve history and put a stop to Rittenhouse once and for all.
