NYC Nanny Who Claimed Insanity After Killing Kids Found Guilty Of Murder

A New York City nanny who stabbed two children to death while their parents weren’t home was convicted of murder Wednesday after a jury rejected her insanity plea.

Yoselyn Ortega, 55, was convicted of killing 6-year-old Lucia Krim and 2-year-old Leo Krim in October 2012. She stabbed Lucia 30 times and little Leo five times. Jurors in the State Supreme Court in Manhattan decided Ortego understood the consequences of her actions when she slayed the children.

Ortega showed no emotion when the verdict came down. She kept quiet through most of the trial, but shook her head and uttered “no” at one point when a witness testified the Krim family had treated her well.

The children’s mother Marina Krim was taking their sibling Nessie, 3, to a swimming lesson when the murders happened in the family’s Upper West Side apartment. She came home to find Ortega and her two bloody children in the

When Sanchez arrived at her Oceanside home, her husband called police and Tenhulzen was pronounced dead at the scene. Sanchez was taken into

Tad Cummins Expected To Plead Guilty To Kidnapping Elizabeth …

Tad Cummins, the former forensics teacher from Tennessee accused of kidnapping a 15-year-old student for 38 days and taking her across state lines for sex, is expected to reverse his not guilty plea.

The announcement came on Thursday after Cummins’ attorney made a court filing describing his client’s desire to change his plea to guilty after “personal reflection,” according to The Tennessean.  In May, Cummins pleaded not guilty to federal charges of charges of obstruction of justice and transporting a minor across state lines for the purpose of engaging in criminal sexual conduct.

In March 2017, Cummins, then 50, ran off with his former student Elizabeth Thomas. After a national manhunt, the two were discovered hiding out in a remote California cabin where they posed as husband and wife. The former teacher allegedly admitted to having sexual contact with the teen during “most nights” during their five weeks on the

Nashville Mayor Pleads Guilty To Felony Theft, Admits Affair With Bodyguard

Talk about a scandal.

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry announced her resignation at a press conference on Tuesday, the same day she pleaded guilty in court for felony theft of $10,000.

In January, Barry, confessed that she had an extramarital affair with the head of her security detail, Sgt. Rob Forrest, for two years, CNN reported.

The felony charge is related to the sex scandal, as the affair brought attention to travel and other expenses made while she and her bodyguard spent time together, according to the Tennessean. It also shined a light on overtime that Forrest was accruing. Barry, a Democrat, was sentenced to three years of probation. As part of her plea deal, she must reimburse the city $11,000.

During Tuesday’s press conference, Barry, 54, told reporters: “While my time of mayor today concludes, my unwavering love and sincere affection for this wonderful city and its great people will

The mother of an 8-year-old boy from Palmdale, California has pleaded guilty to murdering him in 2013. On Thursday, Pearl Sinthia Fernandez, 34, admitted in a Los Angeles courtroom that she tortured her son Gabriel to death intentionally.

According to the Los Angeles Times, because the mother pleaded guilty she avoided a trial. She does now potentially face life behind bars with no possibility of parole, however. Originally it was believed that prosecutors wanted to fight for the death penalty for Fernandez but her defense lawyers said the mother’s low IQ made her an inappropriate candidate for a death sentence.

After the mother agreed to the conditions of her plea agreement, Deputy Dist. Atty. Jon Hatami told her, “You will never be paroled. You will never be released from prison. Do you understand and agree to this?”

Fernandez responded affirmatively and then her public defender comforted her, according to the

A woman who abducted a baby and raised her into adulthood has pleaded guilty for her actions. As CNN reported, 52-year-old Gloria Williams pleaded guilty to kidnapping and interference with custody.

Back in 1998, Williams allegedly posed as a hospital worker in Jacksonville, Florida, and nabbed an infant baby girl. The infant’s biological mother, Shanara Mobley, told authorities that she thought the woman who entered her room was a nurse. When Mobley asked the woman to place the baby in a carrier, she left the room with the newborn.

The child (seen below) was renamed Alexis Manigo, and Williams raised her as her own daughter. Nearly two decades later, the child realized that Williams used fraudulent documents and wasn’t her biological mother. Ayanna Jackson, the woman who accused Tupac Shakur of sexual assault, spoke out for the first time on-camera last week since her 1993 allegation. In a sit down with VladTV, Jackson recounts how she felt when the 23-year-old rap star was found guilty of first-degree sexual assault along with his road manager.

When asked if she felt the guilty verdict “satisfied” her need for justice, Jackson said no. “I don’t think that it could ever satisfy…whether it’s a guilty verdict by a court or anything…I’m 44 now and I could never, ever recover from. There is no justice in that. Not at all.”

Jackson alleged that Shakur and his entourage took turns having sex with her in a New York City hotel room. Although she had come to be with the rapper, she alleges that he forcibly allowed his friends to also have sex with her. “I’m looking at him
