Lorre, Douglas finding new possibilities in ‘Kominsky Method’

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — It’s never too late to learn something new. The rule proved true when actor Michael Douglas and TV producer Chuck Lorre joined forces for a new venture.

Douglas, veteran of countless dramas like “Wall Street,” “Behind the Candelabra” and “Basic Instinct,” and Lorre, creator of TV sitcoms “The Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men,” collaborated for the new serio-comic series “The Kominsky Method,” streaming on Netflix.

For Douglas it proved a whole new experience. “The movies that I used to do, the movies that I liked — the character-driven little indie pictures that I did — I was becoming frustrated with the lack of real distribution or time,” he says.

“These are pictures that you would do for very little money under a tremendous amount of pressure. You would be the marketing budget, in terms of going on all the (talk) shows. And you’d end up

Video Shows Suspected Murderers’ ‘Rehearsed’ Reactions To Finding Out Woman’s Ex Is Dead

Valerie McDaniel and Leon Jacob were arrested earlier this year after their involvement in a failed murder-for-hire plot was discovered by police, according to People. Now, newly released footage of the couple being told about the death of McDaniel’s ex shows the pair’s suspected staged reactions.

“Oh my God,” says Jacob on camera. “We have been here all night. We were here all day with their daughter and we were watching movies. I never met him except for once.”

Police found Jacob’s insistence on immediately establishing an alibi suspicious: “What he wants to do is … let us know right away it is not him,” said Houston detective Frank Quinn. “And then feigns that surprise. It was all rehearsed in my opinion.”

McDaniel would later be released from arrest on $55,000 bail. The day before she was scheduled to appear in court, she jumped from the seventh floor of a building and

David Mueller Says He’s Having So Much Trouble Finding Job After Taylor Swift Trial, He’ll ‘Work For Free’

Taylor Swift emerged victorious from her legal battle with David Mueller, the radio DJ who groped Swift backstage at a meet-and-greet.

Mueller has since spoken out against the ruling, maintaining his own innocence. Now, in an interview with TMZ, Mueller is desperately seeking employment.

“I’ve been personally seeking employment since after the concert … Right now I don’t have any offers. A lot of my friends in radio know that I’d be willing to even work for free,” says Mueller, who admits he’d even screen phone calls, a job essentially for interns.

Mueller was fired from his job after accusations from Swift became public. He had attempted to sue Swift for damages, but a judge dismissed the suit.

Mueller is hoping to rebuild his reputation and return to morning radio, which he describes as his “passion.”
