FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) has expanded its unscripted executive team with the promotion of industry veteran Joni Day, and the addition of Colin Nash and Jean Shi.

Day (pictured) has been lifted to SVP of alternative programming and development. In her new executive role at FMNA, she will focus on finding global formats for broadcast. Day currently serves as an executive producer for FMNA’s kids’ game show The Noise and the game show reboot of Beat the Clock, both on Universal Kids.

Day has been with FremantleMedia since 2013 and has previously served as VP of alternative programming and development. In that role, she managed development and production of reality competitions, game shows and other unscripted television programming. Khloe Kardashian Will Executive Produce True Crime Series About Sisters

Khloé Kardashian knows a lot about sibling drama — and she’ll soon bring her experience to a true crime series about sisters.

Kardashian will executive produce “Twisted Sisters,” a six-episode original series for Investigation Discovery, Deadline reported. It is slated to premiere in 2019.

In a statement about the show, Kardashian called herself a “true crime addict” and said the program will focus on “the bonds that sisters possess and how they can go so terribly wrong.”

Each hour-long episode will look into crimes committed by sisters, including incidents in which the sisters turned against each other. The announcement did not reveal which cases will be covered.

Fans of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” have watched Khloé and her famous siblings feud over the years. One of the most memorable moments in the reality TV franchise was during season two, when Kim Kardashian hit Khloé with a designer handbag amid a heated argument.

Business Executive Steals $5.8M From Company To Fund Escort Girlfriend’s Absurd Requests

Federal prosecutors have obtained a grand jury indictment against Scott Kennedy and his escort Crystal Lundberg after it was discovered the two spent $5.8 million from a suburban drug-delivery company to fund their opulent lifestyle, according to The Chicago Tribune.

Kennedy and Lundberg met through Backpage.com, an escorting site, while Kennedy was working at Nemera in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Kennedy gave Lundberg access to company credit cards in 2015 after she asked for help in buying her children Christmas presents.

In 2016, the couple’s charges had already amounted to millions. Kennedy was fired when the company discovered his spending.

FedEx Worker Indicted For Killing Of Google Executive

A Massachusetts man charged in connection with the murder of a Google executive in Princeton last August was indicted for murder. Angelo Colon-Ortiz, 31, of Worcester, was indicted by a grand jury on Friday for murder in the death of 27-year-old Vanessa Marcotte, who was killed while jogging.

Marcotte, a New York City resident, was in Princeton visiting family when she went on a morning jog. Her body was found in the woods not far from her family’s home later that evening, naked and burned, according to the Daily News. She had suffered  “crushing injuries to the structures surrounding her throat,” according to NECN.

Colon-Ortiz is being held on $10 million bail. He was an employer of FedEx, and delivered packages in the area according to NECN. A cheek swab taken from Colon-Ortiz matched DNA found underneath Marcotte’s fingernails.

Colon-Ortiz will be arraigned at an unscheduled date.
