A South Carolina couple’s “unbearable’ home was so covered in bugs and animal waste that cops arrested them and put the two kids living there into emergency protective custody, police said.
Horry County police arrested Jenny Paradis, 44, and her boyfriend Joshua Vaught, 22, Monday and charged them with two counts each of unlawful neglect of a child, according to WMBF News in Myrtle Beach. Horry County police also charged Paradis with mistreatment of animals.
Authorities caught wind of the situation because someone complained to the Department of Social Services and said there was a strange odor coming from the house that could possibly be related to drugs. A police officer went to the home to check it out, according to the station, an NBC affiliate.
What they found was deplorable, inside and out.
Before officers went into the house, they noticed trash on the porch. There was a drive shaft for a car next

She appeared in Superior Court in New London on Monday after being arrested for the killings of Kenneth and Janet Lindquist and their son Matthew, and was charged with three counts of felony murder and a single count of murder of two or more persons at the same time.

Disturbed Taylor Swift fans keep coming out of the woods.
A gun-owning man in Beverly Hills whose car was filled with ammunition was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to break into the pop star’s mansion — marking the third time this month a man has been arrested for a Swift-related crime.
Julius Sandrock, 38, allegedly tried to break into Swift’s Beverly Hills pad wearing a mask and rubber gloves, according to court papers cited by the New York Daily News. In his car, police found rounds of .380 and 9mm ammunition, along with black and latex gloves, a knife, masks, black rope and an empty box of .22 caliber ammunition. Police rushed to file a firearm restraining order after Sandrock told them he owned a .22, .380 and 9mm handgun.
Police also found “psychologist paperwork” and prescriptions for drugs including oxycodone and the antidepressant fluoxetine, the papers said. Sandrock told cops he

A North Carolina man who was abused as a toddler has died as a result of the suffering he endured more than two decades ago, and now his mother and her then-boyfriend are facing murder charges.
When David Stuart was just 15 months old, his mother Robyn Noffsinger and her boyfriend David Tripp put him through unspeakable abuse. In April 1997, he was taken to the hospital after enduring multiple head and brain injuries, burns and broken limbs, according to The Herald Sun in Durham County, North Carolina.
“It was a tremendous amount of head trauma,” Jon David, Brunswick County’s District Attorney, said about the injuries. “His arm was pulled in such a way that he had a spiral fracture of his arm. He was dipped in hot liquids which produced a bad burn.”
The trauma wasn’t just horrific. It was long-lasting, causing permanent damage to Stuart. He was confined to a

A mother from Tempe, Arizona was arrested last Thursday after her toddler ate THC-infused mac and cheese. She then allegedly laughed at how the child reacted to the high instead of seeking medical attention. Police and child services, however, don’t think it’s a laughing matter.
Alaina Marie Limpert, 25, allegedly made mac and cheese with THC butter for her husband, according to an arrest report. Limpert says she was unaware that her nearly 2-year-old daughter had ingested it until she began to show signs of the high. Her husband was also present.
“During that time, neither parent took the child to immediate emergency care,” according to the police report.”It was witnessed inside of the residence that [they] both laughed about the side effects the child experienced during that time and then proceeded to place her into their backyard pool to use the cold water to ‘shock’ her.”
Someone else inside the home contacted

Jaime King is “very shaken up” after her young son was struck by glass when a man allegedly attacked a car driven by her friend and carrying her child. The 38-year-old model and actress took to Instagram last Thursday to share her horror following the incident in a Beverly Hills parking lot.
“Thank you so much to everyone for the outpouring of love we have received since yesterday’s attack. James Knight is very shaken up, as am I. The attack was incredibly violent, and my 4 year-old-son was obviously the target of the individual’s brutal attack, which is terrifying,” she wrote. “The news that has been released has been inaccurate to the level of sustained violence and intent of this act.”
According to a police report
The incident occurred when the suspect, 47-year-old Paul Francis Floyd, allegedly jumped on the car’s rear windshield, causing glass to shatter and strike the child. In an effort to protect the child, Balogh
