Ariana Grande Posts Tribute to The Youngest Victim Of The Manchester Bombing

Ariana Grande posted a tribute to the youngest victim of the May 22 Manchester suicide bombing at one of her concerts. Tuesday would have been Saffie Roussos’ ninth birthday.

“Saffie, we’re [thinking] of you baby,” Grande wrote Wednesday night on Instagram, with an emoji of a birthday cake.

The young girl was one of 22 killed after a suicide bomber attacked concertgoers leaving Grande’s show. More than 250 were injured, including Roussos’ mother. Ariana Grande Concert Suicide Bomber Identified

The suicide bomber who attacked an Ariana Grande concert Monday night has been identified. The attacker is a 22-year-old British man whose parents had emigrated from Libya.

According to the New York Times, Salman Abedi is responsible for the attack. He lived in a house just three and a half miles from the arena, where he detonated a homemade bomb that killed 22 people and injured 59 others. According to NBC News, children are among the dead.

Abedi stood in a public concourse around 10:30 p.m. on Monday as the concert ended and crowds of young people began to leave, many for an adjacent train station. Abedi died in the attack.

At a late afternoon news conference on Tuesday, Chief Constable Ian Hopkins of the Greater Manchester Police identified the bomber as Abedi. His ID was found at the scene, according to the NYT.

Police also arrested a 23-year-old man
