Suspect In Killing Of Maine Cop Captured After Leading Authorities On A 4-Day Manhunt

The man accused of killing a corporal in the Somerset County Maine Sheriff’s department, who lead authorities on a four-day manhunt, was captured on Saturday, according to Maine State Police.

“John Williams has been apprehended, alive, and was put in Corporal Cole’s handcuffs!,” the Maine Association of Police tweeted shortly after his arrest.

Williams had been on the run since Wednesday, when he allegedly shot and killed Cpl. Eugene Cole, 61, stole the slain officer’s marked patrol car, robbed a Cumberland Farms convenience store and fled on foot, police said.

After the murder, Williams allegedly placed Cole’s body in the front yard of a house belonging to a woman who said she raised Williams like a son.

“How do you be that woman that found him in your yard and know that someone you thought of as your own son — and know that he did that? How do you do

Someone get this doctor a doctor.

A family practice doctor in Georgia allegedly threatened to send her own employees to the emergency room or the grave — saying she would slit their throats, cut their heads off and slice their bodies open.

Dr. Marian Antoinette Patterson, who is based in Valdosta, was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of terroristic threats and one count of false imprisonment, according to WCTV News in Thomasville. She was suspended by the Georgia Composite Medical Board March 5.

The suspension order detailed what happened in her office on February 21.

According to the order, Patterson yelled and cursed at her employees and repeatedly told them she was going to slit their throats. She also called her employees “fat ass bitches” and “sluts.”

She told one employee that she was going to cut her from her throat to her private parts, the order said.

Golden State Killer: Did The Wrong Man Serve Decades In Prison For One Of His Murders?

A man who spent nearly four decades behind bars for murder may have been wrongly convicted of a crime that was, in fact, committed by the Golden State Killer.

Police are investigating whether Joseph DeAngelo, the suspected Golden State Killer, is the true culprit behind the killing that put Craig Coley, 70, behind bars until last November.

“(It’s) within the realm of possibility that (DeAngelo) could be a suspect in our case,” Simi Valley Deputy Chief Joseph May told CBS KCAL 9 in Los Angeles.

Coley was convicted in the murder of his ex-girlfriend and her 4-year-old son in 1980. Rhonda Wicht, 24, was found raped, beaten and strangled with a macramé rope in her Los Angeles apartment. Her son Donald was smothered and suffocated in his own bed, according to prosecutors.

Coley was pardoned after police found new DNA evidence that didn’t place him at the crime scene, and he was released only

AWOL Marine Charged With Murdering His Missing Grandmother

An 18-year-old Marine has been charged with murder after police found the body of his missing grandmother.

Isaiah Kahleal Evans Caesar was charged on Saturday, nearly a month after he went AWOL from his post in Fort Benning in Georgia, ABC11 in Durham reported.

Police discovered the body of his grandmother Sallie Copeland Evans, 74, near a highway in Roanoke Rapids the night before. Her family had filed a missing persons report after they didn’t hear from Evans for several days.

Caesar had been absent without leave since April 2 and was wanted for desertion. Before Evans’ death, she had tried convincing him to return to his post, the family said.

Willie Patterson, Evans’ neighbor of around 20 years, told ABC11 that Evans had even asked him to join her and Caesar on a drive to Camp Lejeune, a nearby military base, where she reportedly planned to talk to Caesar about resuming his military career. Warning bells went

"Gay Panic" Defense Helps Man Avoid Jail Time For Stabbing Neighbor To Death

The rarely-used “gay panic” defense helped a Texas musician avoid jail time for killing a neighbor who allegedly tried to seduce him during a jam session.

James Miller, 69, will serve 10 years probation after being sentenced for criminally negligent homicide for the 2015 death of Daniel Spencer, according to KXAN-TV in Austin.

Miller, a former police employee, had originally been charged with murder in September 2015. But he was found not guilty of murder or manslaughter.

As per the decision on Wednesday, Miller will pay $10,000 in fines and serve 100 hours of community service. He will also have an alcohol monitor until the judge deems it unnecessary.

In court, Miller’s defense successfully argued he had stabbed Spencer to death after Spencer allegedly attempted to seduce him. The court saw this killing as self-defense.

“It was so uncharacteristic of Mr. Miller that for him to engage in this behavior clearly had to be

‘Everything she told us was a lie:’ Sister of ‘House of Horrors’ mom speaks out in new Oxygen documentary

Teresa Robinette decided to speak with the Oxygen network for “The Turpin 13: Family Secrets Exposed,” a documentary focusing on the child abuse case that grabbed international headlines. In it, Robinette explained that she was just as shocked as everyone else when the accusations came to light.

“I didn’t want people to think I had something to hide,” Robinette said of her decision to participate in the documentary, according to Fox News.

“If we didn’t come forward, people would have felt like we knew things and we were attempting to cover them up because I’m her sister… But there’s no way we would have stood for that. That’s why she distanced herself from us.”

Hosted by journalist Soledad O’Brien, the two-hour documentary, aired on Oxygen on Saturday, April 28. O’Brien highlighted

Teresa Robinette, Louise Turpin’s Sister, Reveals Sexual Abuse …

In Oxygen’s two-hour documentary special “The Turpin 13: Family Secrets Exposed,” the sister of accused child abuser Louise Turpin claimed their family was “trained to keep secrets” while they were growing up. Before Louise and her husband David Turpin made headlines in January for allegedly shackling and starving their 13 children inside their Perris, California, home, Teresa Robinette said her sister was a victim of sexual abuse and was forced to keep quiet about it. According to Robinette, she and her two sisters were molested multiple times by an older male relative, and no one in the family protected them.

Robinette told host Soledad O’Brien, “The family told us girls that the best thing to do would be to be quiet because we didn’t want to ruin the family name.” Robinette explained her relative was a “very, very wealthy man” and that he would pay the Robinette girls to stay

Louise Turpin’s Sister Opens Up About Family And Alleged ‘House Of Horrors’

On January 14, 2018, a 17-year-old girl escaped her family home in Perris, California, and called 911 to report that she and her 12 siblings were being held captive by their parents, 49-year-old Louise Turpin and 56-year-old David Turpin. When police arrived at the home, they found several children shackled to their beds with chains and padlocks, and they appeared to be “malnourished and very dirty.” According to a press release from the sheriff’s department, investigators were shocked to learn that the siblings ranged in age from 2 to 29, because the older siblings were emaciated and did not appear to be adults.

While many disturbing details about the California “House of Horrors” have emerged over the past few months, many are still wondering what led to the decades of alleged abuse. Louise’s sister Teresa Robinette is asking herself that same question, and it’s one she hopes will be answered
